From the mouths of babes

Recently overheard:

Samuel, playing by himself grabs a toy phone "hello, regi, sh!t, you're stuck in traffic in your driveway, oh sh!t".
Me "what did you say"
Samuel "sh!t regi is stuck in traffic in her driveway"
Me "where did you learn that word"
Samuel "from daddy. If you don't like it I won't use it at home, just at school"

Matthew "nene, lou yu" (renee love you)
Renee "mathu, lov yu" (matthew love you)
Tickle each other
Nano seconds later
Renee "no mathu, no mathu, no" waving finger

And row days later, a perfectly clear Matthew and Samuel is no longer "memel" but "Saml"

  1. It's amazing the language they pick up!

I love the conversation between Renee and Mattew.

  2. "My daddy would say...that man is a f***ing a**hole" - Rachael, age 4.

At least he's using it appropriately!
