Samuel's Birthday party

We hosted Samuel's Birthday Party at home this year. A great time was had by all who came.

We went to the park behind the house, the kids loved the 1980s metal slide.

Part of the game was to put dried leaves on the slide for the kids to slide through (a kid's idea, of course). It was a great idea, eating the leaves though was not such a good idea.

Samuel repeatedly asked for a mango cake so that's what we gave him - my grandmother made the cake and Samuel and I made the mango butter-cream icing. He decorated it. We sang Happy Birthday in English, Spanish, Hebrew, French and Chinese.

After cake, all the kids tacked my Dad, he tickled them. I'm sure everyone slept really well that night
