The school had a Mesibat Sidur ceremony today - a celebration of kids getting their first siddurim (prayer books). It was beautiful, i was so proud of Samuel, of the school, of the heritage that has been bestowed to me and that I am passing on to the kids, it was inevitable that i cried.
Each kid embroidered their own siddur cover and wrote their own prayer or wish for their family. Here is Samuel's.

Beautiful.

ReplyDeleteHe is a truly special little boy.
