I'll start with a re counting of Halloween. Pictures,if available, will follow. Samuel went as a blue dragon, inspired by a robe he has with a blue dragon hood. He contributed to his make-up, adding green on his face, yellow along his mouth and black nose to my blue all over look. Matthew was a panda bear. Black sweatshirt with old white t-shirt cut out on top, make-up done by Regi. renee wanted to go as pink, the colour. Easy enough since all her clothes are pink, but since her jacket is red, she wore one of my pink sweaters on top of her jacket. and pink make-up that she largely applied herself.
We went trick-or-treating with friends from school. samuel led the pack, and the Dad of the other family wisely, dressed as a pirate, had a sword on hand to block and contain the older kids while Matthew and Renee brought up the rear.
Matthew asked for "teachers treat" and extra candy "more please" at most houses and a few times he helped himself to the bowl while the person of the house gave him one candy, he reached in for more.
Matthew and Renee were barely scared, a big difference from last year when they refused to dress-up and ran into our arms at the sight of any one with a mask. Matthew didn't like a man dressed all in blue, and Renee didn't like some of the decorations.
"Teachers treat"? Never heard that one before. So glad they enjoyed it this year.
