We had a lovely weekend, with a visit from a long time friend of mine and a dinner out for Marc and another friend. My Dad, Mom and Andy all came to babysit, and they brought dinner and folded a week's worth of laundry and organized the dining room shelves. Their payment for the evening's work was to witness Matthew's most recent development - he can purposely grab objects within his reach! he focuses long and hard and reaches very purposely and doesn't let go. He's also started to talk a lot, not quite as much as Renee, but still quite a talker.
Finally, in anticipation of the election n Tuesday, I thought some of you might enjoy the link that Marc sent out:

Your family rocks. Babysitters, dinner providers, laundry folders, and oraganizers?!?! Is there no end to their talents?
ReplyDeleteI am so interested to see how differently Matthew and Renee develop under the same circumstances. They both look so BIG! You rock for posting.
ReplyDeleteit sounds like a wonderful evening. I can't believe how big Renee and Matthew are. Thank you for keeping us updated.
ReplyDeleteI'll see my parents in January and can't wait. Dad hasn't seen natalie yet.
We missed you too at Halloween. The kids look great though. You are all so lucky to have such awesome family support there.
ReplyDeleteRenee is such a little smiler!
ReplyDeleteAnd Samuel looks like such a happy big brother. He seems to certainly be adjusting better than I did! (...am)
That video clip was so funny! When we all move to Canada can we live near you?
